In a product development sequence, three basic steps are wireframes, prototypes, and mockups. These provide the designers the opportunity to test their design process in the rounds of user testing. With these user testing steps, the designer can access, whether their product is up to mark for their target customers or not. Comparing these terms with the human body, we can say that the wireframe is the skeleton of the product, the prototype is the brain, which decides how the human should interact with the people surrounding him/her, and the mockup is the outer features such as skin, hair and facial that is immediately recognized.
